In addition to the new Ford Ranger there is also the Ford Ranger XLT, which has woven carpets, embossed floor mats and velour trim with chrome-effect embossed scuff plates to give a more car-like feel.
Ford Ranger Thunder offers real luxury with its crafted black leather trim, leather wrapped steering wheel, footwell lighting to enhance the vehicle's premium feel and high quality 6-CD audio system, incorporating six speakers.
For those who demand the best, look no further than the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. Its spacious interior offers the luxury and comfort you would expect of an executive saloon. Colour-coded scuff plates, custom floor mats and the leather/perforated Alcantara® seats all boast the Wildtrak logo. High performance diesels- The Ranger series is available with the 2.5-litre Duratorq TDCi (143 PS) diesel engine. If you need even more power, the Ranger Thunder and Ranger Wildtrak are available with the superb 3.0-litre Duratorq TDCi engine (156 PS) and 380 Nm of torque. Drivelines: 4x2 or 4x4- the new Ford Ranger's renowned 4-wheel-drive system is simple and straightforward to use. Just move the range selector lever to the ‘4H' or the '4L' position to engage 4WD, and you've the choice of four High Range and four Low Range gears for when the terrain gets really difficult. Then when you are back on the road, simply change to 4x2 to return to 2WD while the dash-mounted Remote Free Wheel (RFW) button allows you to change between drive modes on the fly.
