Ok so we know it's only the beginning of 2017 and we're already talking about next year, but from early 2018 the new Ford EcoSport will be available with a redesign and with the mantra 'Go Small and Live Big'. Inspired by the idea that "More people are choosing to spend their time and money sharing experiences with friends and family instead of buying more stuff," Chantel Lenard, Executive Director of Ford U.S. marketing says "The new Ford EcoSport fits perfectly into this growing lifestyle. It's our smallest SUV, packed with features and personality."
With that in mind the all-new Ford EcoSport, taking design cues from the new Ford Kuga and new Ford Edge, will be the perfect partner for a life full of surprising possibilities... What you need, when you need it. It'll be nimble and ready for just about anything, and jam packed with technology that'll keep you in touch with the world around you. Ultimately resulting in an everyday SUV that's fun, capable, and connected.
The all-new 2018 Ford EcoSport offers technology to make driving more convenient than ever. The BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert utilises sensors to alert you of vehicles in your blind spot. Ford's SYNC 3 with compatible Apple CarPlay™
The redesigned 2018 Ford EcoSport is comfortable and accommodating with plenty of head room and leg room. With added technology that keeps you smarter and connected, then you have a ride that will never cramp your style.
The next generation 2018 Ford EcoSport will be available with two engine choices. The standard 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Alternatively, there is an available 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine which comes standard with intelligent 4WD and a six-speed automatic transmission.
You''ll be pleasantly surprised with what Ford engineers have managed to creatively and efficiently pack into the All-New Ford EcoSport, including:
By using SYNC connect with the FordPass mobile app, new Ford EcoSport owners will have the ability to start, lock, unlock, and locate their car from almost anywhere. The app also lets owners see important vehicle information such as fuel level and odometer reading.
As it's not due in dealerships until early 2018, the price tag of the next generation Ford EcoSport is yet to be announced.
