The popular small SUV, the Ford EcoSport is getting a redesign!
Ok so we know it's only the beginning of 2017 and we're already talking about next year, but from early 2018 the new Ford EcoSport will be available with a redesign and with the mantra 'Go Small and Live Big'. The all-new 2018 Ford EcoSport offers technology to make driving more convenient than ever. The BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert utilises sensors to alert you of vehicles in your blind spot. Ford's SYNC 3 with compatible Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ offers enhanced voice-recognition capability and an available 8-inch colour LCD touchscreen (with swipe and pinch-to-zoom capability). What's more, Auto Start-Stop technology helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Performance and Specification...
The next generation 2018 Ford EcoSport will be available with two engine choices. The standard 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Alternatively, there is an available 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine which comes standard with intelligent 4WD and a six-speed automatic transmission.

- Cargo Management System in the rear of the vehicle with movable floorboard
- Fold-away second row seats to provide a flat cargo area for hauling larger items

- Two fast-charging USB ports
- Front media bin with a 12-volt power outlet
- Available 110-volt outlet and an additional 12-volt power outlet are positioned behind the centre console for rear seat passengers

By using SYNC connect with the FordPass mobile app, new Ford EcoSport owners will have the ability to start, lock, unlock, and locate their car from almost anywhere. The app also lets owners see important vehicle information such as fuel level and odometer reading.

As it's not due in dealerships until early 2018, the price tag of the next generation Ford EcoSport is yet to be announced.
