Kuga Receives Facelift For 2016

Earlier this month Ford announced they were planning on revealing a new car in Barcelona at the mobile world congress. We can confirm that the new car is actually a facelift of the Ford Kuga (as expected) taking its newly refined features from the USA Escape but keeping the British branding of KUGA.

Improved changes to the new Kuga include a new grille, front bumper, fog lights, tail lights and running led lights at the front. There’s also new alloy wheels available ranging from 17-19” and now also in new colours. Not only has the exterior had a facelift the interior has also had a make over. Including a a new dashboard, less buttons and a bigger touch-screen which includes Ford’s New Sync 3 infotainment system.

Under the bonnet, the new Kuga now gets the option of Ford’s new 1.5 litre TDCi diesel with 120bhp, producing official economy of 64.2mpg, to go alongside the 2.0 litre TDCi with 150bhp or 180bhp and the 1.5 litre EcoBoost petrol with 120bhp or 150bhp.

However the main question is when will the new KUGA be available. It seems that KUGA fans are going to have to wait until October to get there hands on one.

But in the meantime have a watch of the kuga video to see for yourself how great it looks below!
