The 2015 Ford Focus ST, made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. First launched in 2002, Ford has now sold more than 140,000 Focus ST models in over 40 countries.
Benefitting from the technology and quality improvements revealed earlier this year for the refreshed Ford Focus, the new Focus ST will also be available for the first time as a diesel-powered version.
"The Focus ST has proved very popular with Ford's sporty customers and the new model takes that to an even more striking and dramatic level." said Martin Smith, Executive Design Director, Ford of Europe.
The new Focus ST features sportier and more aggressive styling than the previous generation, with a lower, wider stance; new dynamically sculpted bonnet; slimmer headlamps and rectangular fog lamps.
The sports body kit also includes body‑coloured side skirts and diffuser elements either side of the twin-hexagonal exhaust. A rear roof spoiler optimised for aerodynamic performance, black lamp bezels, ST badging and new 19-inch optional, ST design alloy wheels, all complete the look.
A new dark grey paint colour; Stealth, has been introduced exclusively to the new Focus ST, along with Deep Impact Blue, adding more choice than the current Focus ST range.
Satin chrome door handles and illuminated scuff plates add extra touches of refinement, with sports seats developed jointly by Ford and Recaro providing the support required to fully enjoy the ST driving experience, in comfort.
