This month, our Business Centre Manager and the commercial team at our Derby Transit Centre, organised a corporate fun day with our TCH Leasing team in Sheffield, as a bit of a thank you to some our existing customers and as a way to entertain some potential new relationships.
As part of the activities, a selection of guests from Pattenaire Ltd, Hose Doctor, Tidyco, Longcliffe Quarries, Yyeco Electrical and Ferrolli Ltd were invited to Nottingham and District Gun Club to participate in some clay pigeon shooting, go-karting, Transit van blindfold driving, and Ford Ranger Xcountry off-roading.
Nigel Croydon, Business Centre Manager, said: "This year's event was a great success and the feedback we've received showed that everybody thoroughly enjoyed the day. These types of events are essential for us to build better relationships with our customers and give us the opportunity to say thank you for their business and continued support."
Everyone got to experience each activity throughout the day with some friendly competition - Even the rain didn't dampen the spirits, instead making some of the activities more challenging and fun, particularly the Ranger 4x4 driving and the outside go-karting. There were a few prizes up for grabs for the best times throughout the day and goodie bags for all attendees. It was also a chance for our customers to get hands-on with some of our latest new Ford vehicles and technology, including the new Ford Transit, Ranger, Transit Courier and new Mondeo - all proving popular choices with local businesses.
