One of the huge highlights of the new focus hybrid model is that it’s an impressive 17% more fuel-efficient compared to the 150 PS 1.5‑litre EcoBoost petrol engine equivalent. The vast improvement is down to the smart 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, which works with the belt-driven integrated starter/generator (BISG) to recover energy that is usually lost during braking and coasting whilst continuing to add charge to the battery. This improves both fuel and energy efficiency and saves money in your pocket!

Combining the 48-volt battery pack with the famous 1.0 litre Ecoboost engine, the new Ford Focus can muster up to 155 ps of power - which is double the power of the 145ps 2.0 litre petrol engine available in the Focus 10 years ago.

This hybrid focus has come at the same time as its younger sibling, the Ford Fiesta Hybrid. These models are just two of many electric variants within the Fords - Go Electric Range. Ford is continuing to show commitment to expanding its electric range, with the goal to reach 18 electric vehicles for sale by 2021.

As well as the hybrid feature, the new and enhanced Ford Focus has provided a premium experience by installing their new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. This generates detailed high definition, more intuitive images and icons on your dashboard, owners can also choose and prioritse the information displayed.
