Plug-In Van Grant for E-Transit

The Ford E-Transit is now available for a plug-in van grant, saving you up to £5,000*

What is the plug-in van grant?

Zero-emission or low-emission vehicles are eligible for a plug-in grant, which means you can get a discount on the price of a brand new low-emission vehicle. This is thanks to a grant that the Government provides to vehicle dealerships and manufacturers.

And now the New All-Electric Ford E-Transit has been made eligible for this Plug-In Van Grant (PIVG).

The PIVG will pay for 35% off the purchase price up to a maximum of £5,000*. This grant will be taken off the purchase price of the vehicle, and TC Harrison Ford will handle this entire process for you. For private, business, fleet or demonstration models, this means the actual price paid by the customer, including any dealer and manufacturer discount, and not the recommended retail price.

The purchase price includes duty and VAT and excludes any optional extras, delivery charges and first registration fees.

What features does the E-Transit have?

Earlier this year, the New All-Electric Ford E-Transit received a Gold Award from independent vehicle safety authority Euro NCAP for its advanced driver systems. Including Pre‑Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Information System with Lane Change Warning & Aid, Junction Assist, a 360-degree camera and Reverse Brake Assist.

As an all-electric vehicle the new E-Transit benefits from Zero Emission performance, meaning it can drive through low-emission zones or clean air zones and may also help your business to meet its sustainability and carbon dioxide reduction goals. What's more, you can increase the environmental benefits by choosing a renewable energy supplier when charging your electric vehicle.

Zero emissions also opens the door for the use of the E-Transit in situations door indoors or around food production/storage/distribution, meaning you can get closer to your load than ever before, without worrying about air pollutants.

With whisper-quiet electric engine technology, the E-Transit lets you work anywhere around the clock. Whether you’re working through the night or making early morning deliveries, the electric van will make sure local noise pollution is kept to an absolute minimum.

What vans are all-electric?

The E-Transit is Ford’s first all-electric vehicle, however they’ve also revealed the E-Transit Custom which will be arriving by 2024. This follows on from Ford’s revelation of a bold commitment to reach zero emissions for all Ford vehicle sales in Europe and carbon neutrality across its European footprint by 2035. All of which will be lead by the nine all-electric vehicles by 2024, announced in March this year.
