Introducing the Mustang Mach-E

For the first time in 55 years, Ford is expanding the Mustang line-up with the all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV, featuring an all-new infotainment system and connected vehicle technology. Arriving late 2020, the Mustang Mach-E will be available with standard and extended-range battery options with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive powered by permanent magnet motors. The extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive Mach-E boasts a targeted EPA-estimated range of at least 300 miles. The extended-range all-wheel-drive configurations is targeting 332 horsepower and 417 lb.-ft of torque with the standard all-wheel-drive variation targeting quicker times to 60mph than the base Porsche Macan series. Two special performance versions will join the family in 2021, a GT targeting 0-60mph in under 4 seconds making it faster off the line than a Porsche Macan Turbo, and the GT Performance Edition targeting a comparable 0-60mph in the mid-3-second range...

Not lacking in power

The Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition (available Spring 2021) brings an impressive 0-60 mph in the mid-3-second range and an estimated 459 horsepower and 830Nm of torque.

Packed with three unique driving experience - Whisper, Engage and Unbridled, the Mach-E offers finely tuned driving dynamics complete with custom-designed vehicle responsiveness, steering controls, ambient lighting and sounds tuned for an authentic all-electric experience. The new Mach-E 4 all-wheel-drive system applies torque independently to the front and rear axles for improved handling and is the first production vehicle to the tuned using the Ford racing simulator in North Carolina.

Next-generation SYNC communications and entertainment system learns drivers' preferences and gets better over time with over-the-air updated. The 15.5" screen uses an interface controlled by touch, swipe and pinch gestures that come naturally to any smartphone user. Under the bonnet, where traditional petrol or diesel engines would sit, you will find a 4.8 cubic feet drainable storage unit - large enough to comfortably store a carry-on luggage bag. Plus, as it's drainable, you could easily pack it full of ice to keep drinks cold during a summer road trip. There's enough space in the Mach-E to comfortably seat 5 adults thanks to its SUV proportions, and the rear boot space offers 29 cubic feet of storage, but with the back seats down, that space increases to 59.6 cubic feet.
