No matter what you’re pulled in by, the sleek design, the raw pulling power or the beauty of the combination, it’s not hard to see why the Ranger is a regular on the lists of ‘best pick-ups in the UK’. Better yet, with the Ranger’s American brother; the all-electric F-150 encompassing the capability of pulling 1million pounds… it leaves you wondering how soon it is until we see an electric version of the Ranger?
With the, erm, Frankenstein-esq, Tesla Cybertruck unlikely to be in the UK and delivery for Americans not for another 2 years, it leaves the door wide open for Ford to elevate the famous pickup. The step would just be the next effortless one into their rapidly-growing range of electric and hybrid vehicles. And afterall, the Ranger already has a model ready to tackle the Baja Desert Rally, so why not now complete the range with some electric juice?
