Ford Fiesta ST-Line vs
Ford Fiesta ST: How do they compare?
The Ford Fiesta is one of
Ford’s most popular lines and is the UK’s second most popular car.
Over the years, Ford have expanded the Fiesta range to include a variety of trim levels, including the Ford
Fiesta ST. The Ford Fiesta ST was recently voted one of the top ten
performance cars on the market.
The Ford ST range is also
available across the Ford Focus
and Ford Puma models as well as the Ford Fiesta.
Recently, the Fiesta ST-Line has
been introduced to offer the same sporty drive and look without the high running costs associated with the hot
hatch Fiesta ST.

Engine sizes available
The Ford Fiesta ST is available
with a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with three cylinders and on turbocharger which provides the vehicle with
a huge amount of power. In addition, you can select from Sport or Track modes when driving the car to suit the
way you want to drive.
Alternatively, if you opt for the
Ford Fiesta ST-Line, you can choose from three 1.0-litre EcoBoost models which produce 99bhp, 123bhp or 138bhp.
You can also opt for a 94bhp 1.5-litre TDCI diesel engine.
The Ford EcoBoost engine is
designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions whilst providing turbochargers that provide power far
beyond the chosen engine size. For example, a 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine can provide a similar performance to an
older, 1.6-litre petrol engine.
In addition, the Ford Fiesta range
is available as a mild hybrid
version.

Costs
A Ford Fiesta ST-Line will cost you
as little as £19,845, with a selection of optional extras that can push the price up according to your
personal needs and tastes. This is compared to the standard price of £21,955 for a Fiesta ST-2, which can
be upgraded in similar ways.
For a comfortable ride with a
slight performance kick, the Ford Fiesta ST-Line can be the perfect budget option. However, if you have a higher
budget, the Ford Fiesta ST offers an extra level of performance and pace that the Fiesta ST-Line cannot match.
