New 2022 Ranger Raptor Breaks Cover

Built to perform on all terrains, the new Ranger Raptor boasts an impressively powerful twin-turbo 3.0 litre EcoBoost V6 engine, delivering 288PS and 491Nm of torque for outstanding off-road capabilities.

Derived from the all-new Ford Ranger and developed by Ford Performance, this next level pick-up is designed to accelerate on all terrains, from gravel and mud to deserts and mountains.

Smart technology incorporates seven drive modes, re-engineered suspension, and advanced full-time four-wheel drive, including on-demand two-speed transfer case and locking front and rear differentials.

Selectable drive modes adjust elements from transmission to ABS sensitivity and calibration, traction and stability, and more. Three on-road modes include: normal, sport, and slippery, with off-road options including: rock crawl, sand, mud/ruts, and the all out Baja mode.
The electronically controlled active exhaust system comes with four engine settings, giving the driver the option to choose between: quiet, normal, sport, and baja. Meaning that you can keep both your neighbours happy and rip a roaring note while off-roading.

“We’ve really focused on delivering a genuine performance truck with the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor,” said Dave Burn, Ford Performance chief program engineer. “It’s significantly faster, looks incredible, is packed with new features, and it’s the toughest Ranger we’ve ever made.”

We can expect customer deliveries to be available by autumn 2022.
