14 Electrified Vehicles in 2020
Debuting on boxing day, Ford’s new campaign sees them bringing their new electric line-up to the automotive industry, signalling a significant shift that Ford is making to deliver the change being driven by people of today, for tomorrow.
‘Tomorrow says don’t talk about it, make it happen, make it different, make it big’ to quote the campaign message – and Ford is doing this with not one or two, but by introducing 14 electrified vehicles to its range in 2020!
With electrification of vehicles fast becoming the mainstream, Ford is substantially increasing the power with a new range of electrified models and powertrain options on offer to suit a variety of customer needs.
Featuring Mild-Hybrids (MHEV) such as the All-New Puma, Tourneo Custom, Transit Custom, Fiesta and Focus. Hybrids (HEV) like the Mondeo and All-New Kuga, which will also be available as a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). And the 370-mile range, Battery Electric (BEV) game-changing SUV, the Ford Mustang Mach-E available to pre-order today with T.C.Harrison Ford.
Electric Powered Vehicles on the rise
Electric-powered vehicles are the future, and they are on the rise. In the past year alone, consumer demand for electrified vehicles has shocked the market with SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) data showing increases in registrations for electrified vehicles such as Mild-Hybrids by 331% on the previous year, and electrified vehicles collectively (Battery Electric, Plugin-Hybrid, Hybrid and Mild-Hybrid), up 44% on the previous year, as consumers move towards more economical, low or zero-emission vehicles.
A response to demand, Ford is committed and leading the way during a time of huge transformation in the automotive industry, so it comes as no surprise that they are going the lengths to ‘make it big’ with their extensive electric vehicle range.
