The All-New 2019 Ford Kuga has not only had a sleek and spacious redesign but is now available with Mild-Hybrid, Plug-In Hybrid and Full-Hybrid engine options.
The All-New Ford Kuga comes with all the tech you would expect to find in a new ford model like Driver Assistance Technology and
FordPass Connect, but also adds a wireless charging pad and a 12.3" 'True-Colour' instrument display.
The new model uses New Stop & Go technology,
Speed Sign Recognition and Lane-Centring Technologies to help drivers navigate traffic with greater confidence than ever before, and
Active Park Assist 2 enables fully automated parking manoeuvres at the push of a button.
The new Lane-Keeping System with Blind Spot Assist will combine Ford's
Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Lane-Keeping System to monitor the driver's blind spot for vehicles from behind while travelling on multi-lane carriageways, and counter steering is applied to warn the diver and discourage the lane change manoeuvre.
The sleek new proportions give a roomier and more comfortable interior to Ford's best-selling SUV in Europe. The Kuga is the first Ford SUV in Europe to offer a head-up display which helps drivers keep their eyes on the road by projecting useful information into their field of vision. The Heads Up Display maximises effectiveness by utilising one of the largest fields of view of any display currently in an SUV.
The more streamlined silhouette has a longer wheelbase than the last version of the Ford Kuga which provides a larger footprint and improved ride stability. Plus, the lower roofline provides a more nimble appearance.
The new model will be available in Vignale, St-Line and Titanium trim levels, and will be available in 12 colours, including the new metallic 'Diffused Silver' and 'Sedona Orange' colourways. 'Blue Panther' is a new finish exclusively on Vignale models and will be a premium paint finish alongside triple-coat 'Lucid Red' and 'Star White Pearl'. All models will come with Ford's SYNC 3 technology and B&O Sound System as standard.
The All-New Kuga will be the first Ford Vehicle to be offered with a plug-in hybrid, mild-hybrid and full-hybrid powertrain technology, with the plug-in hybrid option offering a pure-electric range of more than 31 miles.
