If you thought the Mustang was a general of the road, wait until you take it to the track. A range of hand-selected performance upgrades, carefully attained from the Bullitt, GT Performance Package, GT350, and GT500 allow this Ford to truly be at home on the track. A brake booster provides faster braking response whilst additional engine oil, transmission oil and rear axle coolers enable extended track sessions with limited performance. Then an upgraded air induction system improves the air flow and 4.5” quad tip exhausts enhances sound quality. Finally, a Track Mode fine-tunes the car’s performance for optimal racing conditions, by modifying engine mapping, throttle and steering response as well as traction and stability control settings.
Who needs the fireworks of bonfire night, with news as explosive as this. The Ford Mustang Mach 1 will be able to order early next year, with first delivery anticipated in Spring.
