Would you escape a spine-chilling horror?

The horror seekers amongst you have no doubt spent a scary amount of time researching the latest terror films for a spooky night in recently. Scrolling endlessly through Netflix though, do you ever consider whether you would survive a horror film, or even how you would escape such spine-chilling scenario?

In the TC Harrison office, we debated over which vehicle we’d jump into if our showrooms became the backdrop of a blood-curdling horror film. Some would opt for the quiet and steady get away, perhaps in the form of a near-silent Mach-E whilst others would roar out the front door, knocking down the ghosts and ghouls as they please in a Focus ST… Jump over to our socials to discover which is your perfect ‘get away’ vehicle.

Perhaps the most famous get away Ford was the Ford Explorer, which was featured (and destroyed) in the iconic Jurassic Park film. Coveted in the eye-catching design of the dinosaur park, the 1992 Ford Explore XLT was used as the Tour Vehicles in the feature film. When the storm broke out and cut the power the Ford was stationary outside the T-Rex enclosure, and we all know what happened then…

A paint job, as good as it was, won’t have been enough to fool the eagle eyes amongst you that in reality, the Tour Vehicle was still the reliable Ford Explorer. Reliable that is until an 8 tonne T-Rex decides the yellow and green isn’t working. One that may have escaped your eye though is the Munster Koach.

Created from 3 Ford Model T’s (the very first Ford Car) and boasting a V8 engine that was originally designed for a Mustang, this ‘family car for monsters’ really did have it all in the 1960’s. Stretching over 18 feet long, with a dedicated song, hit-series and feature film. Also produced for the show was the famous ‘DRAG-U-LA’ car, powered again by the iconic Ford Mustang V-8 engine.
