Since 2010, Tyre Safety month has been a yearly event dedicated to raising awareness about the critical role of well maintained tyres. The organisation TyreSafe emphasise the importance of regular tyre inspections and the potential hazards of driving on under inflated, damaged, or worn-out tyres.
TyreSafe, a UK-based charity founded in 2006, is the driving force behind Tyre Safety Month. Their mission is to promote tyre safety awareness and prevent accidents caused by defective or illegal tyres. Through their efforts, the number of road fatalities and serious injuries linked to tyre-related issues has decreased by a significant 46%.
