Ford has become the first manufacturer to receive the £3,750 EV Grant on selected electric vehicles, the highest available on the current Government EV scheme*.
The two cars that have been granted this amount are the Puma Gen-E and the E-Tourneo Courier. This is due to Ford's commitment to producing vehicles in a manner that meets the Government's environmental standards.
“We welcome the Government’s decision to accelerate the transition to electric mobility and are proud that Ford’s commitment to sustainability has been recognised with the full EV grant,” said Lisa Brankin, Ford UK Chair and Managing Director.
On top of this, new EVs from Ford are also available with Ford Power Promise, a scheme which supports drivers with a free wall charger worth £899, free 5-year service plan, 100,000 mile battery warranty, and an impressive 10,000 miles of complimentary charging through the Octopus Go tariff.
