The TCH Car Show was once again a success at Derby!

Our Derby TCH Ford dealership once again welcomed car enthusiasts to the TCH Car Show. The event, which took place on 9th June, was a revving success as people displayed an array of Fords, from retro head turners to modern muscle. 

The show also opened its doors to various vendors from the industry, including classic car storage facility Great Northern Classics, restoration company AutoRara, dent removal company Dent Perfection, automotive candle company Glowsmith, and detailers ATD Detailing. 

Beyond just admiring the impressive rides, a highlight of the event was the prize competition, judged by Shaun Matthews of Great Northern Classics.

Best in Show

Winner - Ford Escort Mexico Mk2 

This stunning 1978 Ford Escort Mexico certainly caught the attention of visitors to the TCH Car Show thanks to its Venetian Red colour. A truly deserving winner of this year's Best in Show prize.

Best Classic (Pre 1980)

Winner - Ford Escort Mexico Mk1

Best Classic went to a vivid Modena Green 1975 Ford Escort. The show-stopping vehicle managed to turn heads with its dashing spotlights. Congratulations to Steven Hickling for picking up this prize. 

Best Retro (1980-2000)

Winner - Ford Fiesta RS Turbo

This vehicle is making its welcome return to Derby, as it was purchased by the owner Kevin Backler in 1991 from our old TCH Ford site on Normanton Road, Derby! The car, which is great condition with only 51, 500 miles on the clock, scooped up the Best Retro prize at this year's competition. 

Best Modern (2000 Onwards)

Winner - Mustang GT

This modified muscle car, owned by Dean Mills, picked up Best Modern at the TCH Car Show this year after winning the coveted Best in Show prize at our Peterborough Car Show last year! With a GT500 kit, Cervinis bonnet and Cobra exhaust, it's easy to see why this car is so popular at TCH Car Shows.

Children's Choice

Winner - Ford Focus ST250

At every car show, we open up prize voting to any children that attend the event. This year's Children's Choice award was won by Cat Davies, probably thanks to the red Lilo and Stitch themed decals on the car! This Ford Focus ST250 is a member of Ford Club UK.
