SYNC 4 is the latest upgrade to Ford's new infotainment and communications system. Supported by an all-new 13.2-inch central touchscreen, with an intuitive interface that means drivers are never more than a touch or two away from any application, information or control they need. The new touchscreen also incorporates controls for functions such as heating and ventilation that were previously activated using physical buttons, resulting in a cleaner and less cluttered centre console. The system also delivers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM compatibility, allowing seamless integration between smartphone functions and SYNC 4.
The Ford E-Transit is also available with FordPass Connect technology, an on-board modem system that can help businesses to interact with connected vehicles, allowing you to remotely lock and unlock the vehicle. Plus the ability to see location, vehicle health and vehicle status, among other handy features. Data-driven maintenance alerts are delivered through the FORDLiive connected uptime system via the FordPass Pro mobile app or Ford Telematics.
Tailor how your E-Transit drvies with 3 selectable drive modes. Each one adjusts various settings to optimise performance of the conditions. Normal is for everyday driving; Slippery improves handling in wet or icy conditions; and Eco helps you to get the most from the battery.
EcoMode allows your remaining battery power to go further. The system limits the top speed, reduces the acceleration rate, and uses less power for climate control. To maximise your E-Transit's range and get the most from the battery, active L-Mode to increase the rate at which your battery recharges when you apply the brakes.
