TC Harrison Ford is proud to celebrate a historic milestone: the Ford Transit has officially set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Parade of Vans!
To mark the Transit’s 60th anniversary, 201 vans, from classic models to the latest electric versions, gathered at Ford’s Dunton campus and and drove 29 miles to Chelmsford Race Course. This record-breaking convoy was the highlight of the first-ever Transit Festival, bringing together owners, fans, and businesses to honour the van that’s powered Britain for six decades.
Each participant received a Guinness World Record certificate, becoming part of Transit history. Like Peter Lee of the Transit Van Club put it, “Transit has touched millions of lives in its 60 years.”
