Serving the City

The vehicle has been praised by staff in the service for its reliability, speed and low emissions.

The London Ambulance Service has taken out a fleet of 42 Mustang Mach-Es to transport their paramedics to the scene as soon as possible. The service chose the Mach-E for its ability to navigate busy London streets during the most important times. The service wanted the lowest emitting fleet of emergency response vehicles possible, but understood the safety of patients took priority over the level of emissions.

Fortunately, the Mach-E provides the best of both worlds as it can give the the paramedics the speed and agility needed to carefully move through the busy city to get to patients in need, all while being able to complete a 12 hour shift without recharging.

Another reason why the Mach-E makes an exceptional rapid response vehicle is that the 15.5”-inch infotainment system can be transformed from the traditional Mach-E display to show the onboard ambulance computer. This allows the paramedic driving the vehicle to receive important and crucial updates. This gives the Mach-E an advantage over other choices of response vehicles as it has an integrated system, adding to the streamlined experience needed by the medical professionals.
