The Ford Kuga has been one of the best-selling vehicles in the UK for the past few years, and it’s back better than ever with a new design. The new Ford Kuga encourages drivers to welcome an electric future with upgraded hybrid powertrains to suit a whole host of needs.

Both the new Kuga Plug-In Hybrid and new Kuga Hybrid provide improved acceleration along with reduced emissions. The new Kuga also offers unrivalled towing capability compared to its competitors, being able to pull up to 2,100 kg with no issues.

Kuga PHEV customers can enjoy up to 42 miles* of pure electric driving when they take advantage of home or public charging facilities. For those without access to convenient charging, the new Kuga Hybrid can offer up to 560 miles of driving range on a single tank of fuel and up to 64% pure electric driving, ideal for city locations.

“The Ford Kuga has been a hit with customers since it was first launched in 2008. The new Kuga is our best ever, moving the game forward with new levels of capability, connectivity and comfort,” said Jon Williams, general manager, Ford Blue, Europe.

The latest Kuga has undergone enhancements in both its interior and exterior, featuring a renewed and self-assured design. The intelligent Titanium, athletic ST-Line, and robust Active models showcase distinct design elements, each with its own unique personality. Highlighting the new front grille design is a striking full-width LED light bar, proudly framing the Ford Blue Oval and emphasising its strength and purpose.

The new Kuga also performs well when it comes to seamless connectivity, with the addition of the latest generation SYNC 4 infotainment system. The new set-up offers twice the computing power of the former system. Smartphone integration has never been easier, thanks to the new Kuga’s 5G connectivity allowing for faster access to navigation systems to stay on top of traffic, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as built-in Alexa for driver convenience.

The new SYNC 4 system also supports the Kuga’s improved towing ability, with the Trailer Connection Checklist helping support safe and secure connections. Trailer Tow Navigation allows drivers to inout the dimensions of their car and trailer so that the connected system can select a route that helps avoid tight turns, low bridges and other obstacles in the road.

Cutting-edge driver assistance technology ensures a smooth and comfortable driving experience, even in challenging conditions. The latest Adaptive Cruise Control in the new generation can now automatically apply brakes for curves, junctions, and other traffic situations. Additionally, the 360-degree camera system provides an overhead view, simplifying tasks such as parking, trailer hitching and automatic car washes.

The interior of the new Kuga priorities practicality, delivering comfort and convenience for urban and adventurous journeys alike. The sliding second-row seats can extend legroom to over 1 meter for rear passengers or create an additional 150 litres of boot space. For enhanced comfort, optional seats endorsed by a leading spinal health organisation provide targeted support where it's most needed, so you can always have the most comfortable journey.
