Used Car Data February 2018
Data from Auto Trader has revealed that the fastest selling used car in February 2018 was the 2016 Ford Ka. The manual, petrol version took on average just 17 days to leave the forecourt, beating the second and third fastest selling cars by a whole two days.
The trends in the new car market are growing increasingly away from diesel cars and more towards SUVs; however, the used car market is moving in a very different direction with 70% of the 10 fastest selling used cars being diesel models. The Ka also defied the trend for bigger SUV vehicles to snatch the fastest selling position.
Another Ford model in the top 10 fastest selling used cars last month was the Ford Focus Hatchback. You can see our new Ford Focus models here.
The data from Auto Trader showed that the most popular used cars are three to four years old, and finance options are making more expensive cars more accessible to a wider audience.
