The Ford Kuga is leading the charge as the first Ford vehicle to be offered with plug-in hybrid and full-hybrid powertrain technology. The power-split architecture combines a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle petrol engine, electric motor and generator, and 14.4 kWh lithium-ion battery to produce 225 PS. And, when selecting the plug-in drivetrain, you can achieve fuel-efficiency of up-to 201.8mpg.

Interior and Exterior

For the first time, the Kuga Hybrid is offered with FordPass Connect embedded modem technology that turns the vehicle into a mobile WiFi hotspot with connectivity for up to 10 devices. In addition to helping drivers plan faster, less stressful journeys with Live Traffic updates for the navigation system and enabling occupants to stream entertainment on the move, FordPass Connect allows a range of convenient features via the FordPass mobile app.

Ford SYNC 3 helps you to stay connected. You can control your phone, music and navigation with natural voice commands. The system has an 8” colour touchscreen with pinch-and-swipe gestures for intuitive control. SYNC 3 can also connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and with AppLink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps.

What is the interior like in the Ford Kuga?

Comfort, spaciousness and flexibility are key to the more refined Kuga interior that delivers class-leading second row roominess. Heated outer seats on the back row are available for the first time, and that entire row of seats can be moved backwards for best-in-class 1,035 mm rear legroom, or forwards to increase boot space by 67 litres. A remote release function enables the second row to be folded flat with ease.

In addition, Kuga’s tailor-made sound system from B&O delivers premium design with superior sound quality. The advanced 10-speaker, 575-watt setup has been specially fine-tuned for Kuga by specialist B&O sound engineers, so you can experience your music the way the artist intended.
