The brand new Ford Tourneo Custom is our most versatile van yet, offering first class travel for up to nine occupants, with an all-new premium interior.
The most exciting part of our new Tourneo Custom has to be the rear interior, and we want to shout about it. The luxurious cabin features six individual rear seats that can be arranged in several different layouts. An exclusive to the segment, the Tourneo Custom offers all passengers the best seat in the house, with the option of conference seating format. Added to this, the rear cabin has a significantly upgraded sound reduction package and six USB charging points, so you can focus on putting the final touches on a presentation, or have a complete business meeting.
The new nine-seater van was developed after detailed research into how customers use their vehicles, and the seating configurations that they value the most. The seating arrangement ensures that travel time is no longer ‘dead time’ and can be used effectively on the way to, or on the way back from meetings.
As a standard on high series models, the six individual seats can be folded flat, tumbled, stowed in multiple locations, or removed completely. Once you have removed some seats, you can create a limousine-style space to maximise the luggage area, or meet your own requirements for your journeys.
As well as a unique and upgraded seating style, the new seat designs are even more comfortable too, with revised foam padding and geometry for optimised support. The rear seats also have upgraded air conditioning, meaning that the area can be cooled or heated more quickly.
In terms of driving experience, the largest of the Tourneo people movers has been comprehensively re-engineered to provide superior levels of refinement and sophistication. This includes high-quality trim materials, improved comfort and noise levels, and the latest Ford passenger car technologies, such as an Intelligent Speed Limiter, and SYNC3 connectivity. The all-new instrument panel has been based on the new Fiesta, with an attractive and user-centric layout.
