Over the years the Tour de TCH has taken many different routes, guises and heroes. Including a cycle from TCH JCB in Sedgefield to Hull before onto Lincoln and then heading further south to visit the Ford depots in and around Stamford, Peterborough and Derby to name a few.

In what is TC Harrison’s 90th anniversary year, we wished to make this the biggest ride yet, not in terms of distance but in terms of numbers and so our plan was to take a ride around the peak district, close to Bakewell where the TC Harrison Group Head Office presides. As we follow the Governments guidelines in the delay of a full reopening this has had to be paused till September.

However, in the spirit of TCH, our Southern Ford depots still wished to raise money for charity in a more ‘static’ version of Tour de TCH. So at the beginning of this week (Monday 21st June), a spin bike was set up in the foyer of TCH Ford Peterborough. The team at Peterborough had 2 hours to ride as far as possible in a combined team effort. Following a successful first day; it was the time of Huntingdon on Tuesday before the tour carried onto St Neots and will finish at Spalding and Stamford.

The winning TCH dealership will be crowned Tour de TCH Champions and will be the deserved holders of a trophy; whilst for individuals taking part there is the chance to win most sponsorship raised, most miles covered and of course best dressed rider!
