Introducing the new Ford Transit Connect
The all-new Transit Connect offers bold styling with advanced new powertrains that provide improved fuel efficiency and performance. The Transit Connect will have a choice of the all-new 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel engine and the advanced 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, featuring cylinder deactivation.
The sleek front-end appearance is in line with the latest Ford design DNA, with a three-bar Transit grille and slim headlights. Commercial vehicle operators can choose from a huge range of capabilities, with short and long wheelbase options, payload capacity ranging from 520-890kg, and three body styles, including van, kombi, and double-cab-in-van.
Inside, the cabin has been upgraded to include a floating, tablet-inspired 6-inch colour touchscreen, which is available on higher series models. This also includes Ford’s SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system.
In terms of driver assistance technologies, the Custom offers a great range, with Intelligent Speed Limiter, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Side Wind Stabilisation, and Active Park Assist.
