What is Ford Active Park Assist?
At the touch of a button, Ford Active Park Assist removes the hassle of parallel parking. Ford Active Park Assist enables you to park in the tightest of spaces, whilst at the same time reducing the risk of accidental damage to your vehicle and those that are surrounding it.
How Does it Work?
Ford Active Park Assist is activated by pressing a button as you are driving, this in turn activates the ultrasonic sensors that will identify and measure any possible parallel parking space. When the system finds a suitable parking space it will ask you to confirm. The system then takes over and steers the car into the space, hands-free. As the driver you continue to operate the pedals but the car does the steering (and the hard work) for you.
