Offering a comfortable driving experience, it also comes with the option of short and long wheelbases depending on your requirements. 

The functional interior of the Transit Connect features a dual front seat, which means three people can fit comfortably in the front of the cab. Design flexibility also allows for the passenger seat to be folded flat. This creates a three-metre load length within the long wheelbase model. All-in-all, this is a van that delivers on multiple fronts, making it a superb purchase.

What infotainment comes with the Ford Transit Connect?

Whether you're on the job or venturing away for the weekend, the Ford Transit Courier is designed so that your journey is as comfortable and refined as possible. Ford SYNC, the modern infotainment system, is an embedded modem home to an 8-inch screen with smartphone mirroring (Apple & Android) comes as-standard with a built-in SatNav.

In addition, the Transit Connect is also available with FordPass Connect technology, an on-board modem system that can help businesses to interact with connected vehicles, allowing you to remotely lock and unlock the vehicle. Plus the ability to see location, vehicle health and vehicle status, among other handy features. Data-driven maintenance alerts are delivered through the FORDLiive connected uptime system via the FordPass Pro mobile app or Ford Telematics.

What is the Ford Transit Connect like to drive?

All of the engines offered to power the new van are confident 1.8-litre Duratorq turbo diesels. Up to 109bhp and 250Nm of torque will be at your disposal, helping the Transit Connect to carry and tow whatever you need. Depending on the configuration of your van, the maximum payload could be close to a tonne - and you'll still be able to pull a trailer if you need to.

Ford's reputation for safety is also upheld with the Transit Connect, as the van is packed with security and protection. Clever driving technologies in the Connect are designed to keep you safe. Active Yaw Control is designed for Ford vans to help with both oversteer and understeer. Other driver assistance features include Active Park Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, Side Wind Stabilisation and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection.
